Successful dance for Rogers Rebels

Rogers Rebels recently held the Annual Charity Dance at Orwell, Cambridgeshire together with friends from the Physically Handicapped Able Bodied (PHAB) Club in Cambridge who are their nominated charity.
Guest singer/musician "Stig" gave everyone present whether partner dancers, Line dancers or listeners an evening to remember with a fine and varied selection of songs and instrumental skills. It comprised many traditional country songs intermixed with current favourites, sometimes suggesting some dances to accompany the vocals and most  importantly playing to please everyone present. The Annual Charity Dance 2011 and associated activities raised another £600-00 which was more recently presented to Joyce Mitchell on behalf of PHAB members with many Rogers Rebels members attending the ceremony. For many of us it is indeed a great pleasure to join in PHAB activities, to enjoy the company and to have made so many friends of PHAB members.
Teachers Tom and Christine Harland told Linedancer, "On behalf of Rogers Rebels WDC we would like to thank all our friends and other club members who supported this evening and helped raise funds for PHAB to maintain its caring commitment to their members."
