Thanks to everyone for making the Red, White & Blue Social such a success. The raffle raised £155 for Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund so well done. The hall looked fabulous with all the bunting, flags & balloons - thanks to the support team who make such an effort for us all - not to be outdone by all the colourful & clever outfits that you'd all created.

Another great social to celebrate Valentine's Day - the hall was beautifully decorated and everyone joined in the Valentine's theme. Next planned social is a flag flying red, white and blue theme on 2 May. This is to celebrate our 11th anniversary, the Diamond Jubilee and the Olympics!

Our 'Black and Silver' themed Christmas party was a great success, with sequins, glitter and sparkles in abundance. The support team made a terrific job of decorating the hall and we managed to raise £371 for Alzheimer's Society. The club recently celebrated its 1,000 class and hope that 2012 will be just as much fun for everyone.

Yet another fabulous social (Rock 'n' Roll theme) happened on 27 July & more funds were raised towards this year's chosen charity, Alzheimer's society. Now the club is closed for August & will recommence on Thursday 1st September. In the meantime we have Reg & Carol's charity socials every Wednesday through August at the Crescent centre, raising funds for Motor Neurone Disease.
