Strange things have been happening with our Route 66 website. A company in Amsterdam claim to have the European copyright for the Route 66 logo and asked us to stop using it or pay an annal fee of 1000 euros. Not sure if this was a scam or not we decided to take the soft option of closing down the Route 66 website. You can now find us under our new website of www.worthinglinedancing.co.uk.

Mike and I have been working with a Country Band called Way Out West based here in Sussex. Sorting out dances for their followers to dance to the band's music. Unfortunately there has been a clash of musical differences within the band (heard that one before ?) and now the band has broken up. Shame really because there were some good musicians in the band and we had some charity gigs lined up. Win some Lose some !!

Our new absolute beginner class at Washington Village Hall on Monday lunctimes 12.30 to 1.30 is going very well. From not being able to dance any steps at all the class are dancing Ruby Ruby (Don't Rock the Jukebox Tryin' To Get To You (now to Country Club) Cowboy Charleston and just starting Runaround Sue !!! Our Christmas Party for this class is on Thursday evening 20th December when we have the country band Way Out West performing live on stage. Mike will be DJing and teaching the Barn Dance. Tickets are £5.00 and on sale shortly. Limited to 70 only.

On Saturday November 10th we have Westonline live on stage plus our regular western and line dance wear shop Kandel Country at the front door. Also tickets are now on sale for our Christmas party on December 8th with Calico. Tickets are £10.00 and include a free bar and nibbles.
