I have been a journalist for the last 10 years. I spent the early part of my career reporting on serious news stories documenting natural disasters, politics, war and gun crime. When I first got the job as editor at Linedancer Magazine it was a privilege for me to be able to write about dance. It was a great honour to draw on my life long commitment to the dance world. I was able to translate my experiences, whether that would be performances, teaching or choreography, to the page. However, the magazine had certain limitations in format and restrictive deadlines – so I am really looking forward to having a Blog – where my thoughts are given free reign. I feel as if I have been a slave to the printed press for the last 10 years – and now cyberspace allows me to cut loose the shackles and chains – to write without inhibitions.
I would like to use my Blog to bring you up to date with everything dance related, from the latest trends to the buzz-worthy episodes around the world... Blog you later!
