You and I

If you've got a great new dance and want to shout it to the world, then this is a great place to start. Just be sure you have the script and (if possible) a video clip posted to this site before you start.

You and I

This is a new release, and we learnt it yesterday, it's an A&B dance, two sequences of A(64 counts) each ending facing front, one small tag then the beat picks up and you do the B section from then on, that too is 64 counts, but 4 wall,
It by Oli Geir and Hugrun and it's on Watch and Learn. I loved it

3rd post and all from me,
We were at a Plain Loco weekend in Weymouth over the last weekend, and put this dance on the request sheet several times, each request in bigger letters, eventually on the Sunday night Cliff actually called it, and guess what; my little brain cell went AWOL,I completely messed up, I feel sooooo mad at myself, :x there was a lady dancer who knew it (as well as our group) but she has the most eccentric way of dancing and as she was in right in front of me I was like a rabbit in the headlights, all I could see was her legs flying about, and the sequence deserted me.
So; to anyone reading this who was at Weymouth last weekend,I APOLOGISE !!  :o

Jane,
I see that it is creeping up the lower end of the charts, I still think the problem is the availability of the track and the A.B thing, some dancers shy away from those phased dances. In this one, the 2 A walls are danced (that's the slow section) a 4 count tag - then i''ts turn up the tempo and then it's all B's to the end.
I am still kicking myself.

I taught this at Val Self's Hemsby weekend in September and it was also taught this weekend just gone at LJ's event at the same venue. Both times it got a really good response. Pleased to see its now sneaked in to the top 20 and I'm sure it'll go much higher.

There is also a video on youtube somewhere of the 2 choreographers doing the dance.
