As I was saying in my last review this section of the web site is for dance reviews, but i don't think that Mr Suspicious has read what i was saying at all. I have a class of about 30 people were all of them are over the age of at least 35-40. They love any kind of music at all dosen't matter what the dance is like. If they like the music they will dance to it. This dance Ya Do is an excellent dance to excellent music (I believe Lionel Richie sings it). I don't know were you get street dancin from at all. Yes it is a bit on the funky side but aren't alot of dances these days. This dance can be managed by the majority of people. I really don't know were you are coming from. I just think you have come on here to stir up trouble (as your name suggests, cause you can't even have your proper name. I would suggest you go on the messgae board to start such a debate if you don't want to comment on the dance itself

A message to Any Dixon - We have to think of LINEDANCING as a whole, to it's continuation. Dances like this one, if taught by most instructors will see the end of linedanding because your average line dancer will turn away and walk!!!. Now I love funky stuff too but not for my line dancing class and we do rely on numbers to cover the costs. Are you sure you shouldn't be going to a street dance class? The classes will or course be smaller and you will have to pay more but you should differentiate between the two.

Have taught this dance twice now and think it will be popular as the music is funky and the steps interesting.Need to persevere!!!!

The class I go to don't like it. They sat down in the teach and it is not requested. It's not as good as some of her other ones.

This dance is a really neat dance whether it has been put in the top 20 or not i couldn't care less. It has a really good flow to it and there is a cool combination of steps as well. Taught it to my class and was an instant hit with them. Well done Maggie. The two people who have commented before about the top 20 should be deabting about this issue on the message board and not in the review section. This is on comments for the dance itself.

I agree Martin. 'Now Is The Time' (for example) has 31 reviews and 150 boots awarded and does not appear in the charts but 'Ya Do' has only 2 reviews (one negative) and only 4 boots awarded but is in the top twenty. How come? Is this a fix?

In the Top 20?? how? why? what's going on?

Maggi taught this dance at The Copthorne, Slough and I really enjoyed learning it. It flows well with the music, is quite easy to learn & remember but has some interesting moves in it. Well done Maggi another 'cracker'
