I celebrated my 16th birthday last month, on 25th July. I have been linedancing since January this year. When my mum decided to go to linedancing classes I decided to go with her and give it a try. Under the expert tuition of Dot McEwan who runs Kingdom Kickers LDC in Glenrothes and with help and encouragement from Ann and Bene Byers who run the Kirkcaldy Western Dance Club and also Marion and John Brown who run the Broken Lance CWC in Burntisland I am well and truly hooked. My dad has also started linedancing. When they told me that they liked the song ‘If I should fall behind wait for me’ by Faith Hill I decided to try and choreograph a dance to this song. I managed, after a number of changes here and there, to choreograph a nice slow dance and my mum and dad are now able to linedance to the song while they listen to it.. Dot McEwan has looked at it and she has encouraged me to submit it to you . This is my first ever and I have attached it to this e-mail and hope that you will be able to publish it in the magazine so that others can try it and hopefully enjoy it as well. One of my ambitions is to become a choreographer and I would welcome any advice that you have or information about classes or workshops that will help me achieve this ambition.
