Hi Maggie, thought this was a great dance to a awesome song. Very well done.

Jonny Khan (9 Years) - 04/01/2006
Great dance, great music, even the tag is fun

Glenys - 01/12/2004
We have dropped this mediocre dance because of the total confusion with the start. Why Oh why wasn't it made simple. No more tricky starts please Maggie.

Shauna - 14/11/2004
Nowt tricky on the start, but the script should have been written better. But then the dance isn't worth pursuing due to the balnd music and very average dance. Not what I expect from someone so popular

Val S - 14/11/2004
I love the music and the dance but like Steve I feel it is a pity to have such a tricky start. We are OK at our own club but when we do it elsewhere, especially to live music, it could become a shambles.

Stumblin Steve - 10/11/2004
Quite like the dance, but it only gets two boots becasue of the silly start. Works perfectly well with the kick-ball on "1". Why complicate matters?

a happy dancer/teacher - 25/10/2004
a nice dance. surely if everyone is enjoyning the dance, who cares if some are starting 2 counts later than they are supposed to.

Michael - 25/10/2004
great little dance maggie. taught it at our recent weekend as one of the workshop dances and was very well received. no problems with counts or the start and a real nice sing-a-long dance when you get into it. And by the way Jonny, here in Ireland we can cha cha with the best of them!!!

David - 24/10/2004
As a dancer, only, I find this a lovely flowing dance even with the tag and can not understand why a few instuctors have had trouble with where the dance starts. Being able to sing a long with the tune is good as well.

John Barber - 22/10/2004
Interesting comments, I start the dance at what appears the natural time in the music and it feels right, even the tag fits, however went to a social where they started earlier, they said it was right, when i start in my time we all really like the dance, wasnt too keen with the other start

Johnny Moore - 22/10/2004
Very poor dance from a so very talented choreographer. Maybe she should give up keeping on level with Robbie McGowen Hickie and prefer quality above quantity! I also wonder why she is keeping on choreographing Cha cha's beginning on the 8&1 ???? Doesn't she know a real cha cha begins on count 2 ? And if you want to make the dance clever and easy you can add an start step on count 1 and end the dance with 8&1!! Maybe they don't cha cha much in Ireland!

troggie - 19/10/2004
i luv this one great track with a neat little dance that dosent take forever to learn. i can see this one become a standard just a shame about the confusion over the count it

Jenny - 17/10/2004
Brill dance ,this will be around for a long time.

Andy - 09/10/2004
Finally learnt this. Love it well done maggie once again

Ray Sims - 30/09/2004
The music is far better than the dance. This just doesn't flow at all but will no doubt be big because of the choreographer. Good track, below average dance. Could do better. 2 boots only.

Sue - 26/09/2004
Nice music. Average dance. Steps 4-7 on section one simply do not flow, but dancers who "plod" through any dance won't notice. However,it seems to be popular and went down well when I taught it. My guess is that it is the music that "pulls" it through.

Cecilia Holroyd - 25/09/2004
Excellent Dance, Excellent music, what more can you ask for. Timing 8&1 is easy if you count it from very beginning. Thanx Maggie.

Karen Hunn - 21/09/2004
Lovely little dance suitable for most levels to a nice track, enough in the dance to make you think without it being overcomplicated, and is enjoyable to dance, what more could you want. Just to add regarding the comments about the 8&1 count in, after speaking to Maggie over the phone and having intro confirmed, it starts on count 32 from the beginning of the track (15 counts immediately after they sing first "Stuck on You"), about 4 beats before the main vocals (so main vocals come in when you're doing the side rock & touch)... it's possible to mistake the start 2 counts later than it is by starting on the main heavy beat, this is wrong, it's 2 counts earlier, so this may be the problem rather than it being an 8&1 dance, because in all honesty starting on a 1&2 would not feel right at all... so just be careful with the intro, but once you know how and when it should be the count in is easy!

Karen - 04/09/2004
A great dance to a lovely piece of music. Looks like it might be a floor filler!

JLS - 02/09/2004
reviewed the dance at the class last night. all enjoyed the music, and got up and did the dance. no trouble with counting in for us. so long as you listen, and count your sixteen count intro from the first quietly sung 'stuck on you', starting the dance is a breeze. and the tag is simple enough. a sweet and fairly simple dance.

Lin - 29/08/2004
The sort of dance to fill floors and a great track of music, but not keen on the 8&1 count in. Already found it being started on the wrong count at socials.

Val S - 27/08/2004
I agree with the 1st reviewer of this dance. The 8&1 start I find a bit tricky but once we are off I really enjoy the dance but have to say it is mainly down to the music. The dance doesn't flow as well as it could. I think I learn it every time we do it and that is often!!

Tracy Brown - 26/08/2004
Dance very well received at my class. Easy to teach and although dance has a tag, it's easy to remember, nice piece of music.

Gem - 23/08/2004
Well done maggie, another fantastic dance. I LOVE IT!!!!

John Asquith - 19/08/2004
This is a nice little improver dance to an attractive song. It is the sort of dance that will have mass appeal, i.e. a floor filler. Nothing wrong with that!!

Martina - 17/08/2004
Hi Mags, Brill' love it love it.....................nice one. Can really 'give it some' don't take any notice of the miserable people who don't appreciate it..............they need to 'get a life, a sense of timing and a sense of appreciation'. A classic. Martina Martina

troggie - 16/08/2004
this is luvverley great little track and a nice little dance all classes enjoying this one

Lesley Michel - 16/08/2004
I taught this dance last night and it was very well received!! Nice steps/nice music.Had a full floor for the teach and they all stayed on the floor for a second go at it!!

Sharon - 16/08/2004
IMHO another great dance from a highly respected choreographer. I really enjoy this cha and will definately be teaching it. Nice piece of music you can sing along to.

David and Jane Blake - 10/08/2004
Maggie taught this dance at our Maggie G night at Middlewich Civic Hall and dedicated this dance to Jane and I as she announced our marriage. It is a lovely track and the dance fits perfectly our class love it! Well done and thank you Maggie.

Elaine - 10/08/2004
Oh, dear, another over-hyped dance from an over-rated choreographer. The dance is easy enough but is too jumpy, doesn't flow well, and it's just a bit messy.

Hank & Denise - 10/08/2004
Nice easy dance with a feelgood factor to it. Apart from one passage in the music being quiet, the whole thing makes for a really enjoyable dance.

Sarah & Myra (Buckin' Horses LDC) - 09/08/2004
A nice little dance to a nice tune (does remind me a lot of lionel ritchies version which maggie says it won't fit to!!) However, it is a little tricky to work out exactally where to start as maggie has made this an 8&1 dance, but the dance is not hard to do so i think most will enjoy this one if we decide to teach it.
