Great, calmin gdance that looks good when performed. The only bad thing is no-one remembers it now.

emma adams - 29/06/2005
brilliant dance with lovely music. its a shame about the tag but don't let it put you off.

Melanie - 20/05/2005
I agree it's a lovely dance and fits beautifully with the music but the wall change is a pain.

yesses - 13/05/2005
what a lovely dance spoilt by changing walls, why oh why do we have to complicate matters, class loved it till the change of walls give

Debbie Jordine - 12/05/2005
Beautiful flow to this dance until there is a slight pause in the music and it sends you off phrase, then the wall change and neither of these points are mentioned in the dance script! I thought the point of a tag & re-start was to keep the dance phrased, although the re-start does eventually do that. I could have saved myself alot of stress if all this was mentioned!

great dance to a great piece of music.

Michael Siebke - 14/04/2005
Definately one of my favourite dances around at the moment. Great dance, great music and the change in direction towards the end, adds an extra dimension to this wonderful piece of choreography.

Norma Hull (St. George Linedancers, Sydney, Australia) - 02/04/2005
A lovely dance to beautiful music...I recently taught this to my class & the change of walls was not well received. Everyone thought it would have been so much better with a 3/4unwind to put the walls back on track(rather than a full unwind which changes to side walls rather than the original front & back walls)

Some weeks ago we made a day-trip from Vienna(Austria) to Munic (Germany) for a Workshop for the Masters-In-Line Competiton dances. And "Under the Spell" was absolutely the best of all. The change of walls is a little challenging but everybody was proud to manage it. Back home we showed the dance to our linedance clubs and everybody loves the dance and the music, also those, who normally do not like waltzes.

Alison Nichols (Oakland Mavericks Wirral) - 16/03/2005
Brilliant dance to a beautiful piece of music.Agree about the tag - not sure why choreographer didn't make the turn so it stayed as a two wall dance.Still - our classes love it.Well worth the effort.

Hank & Denise - 02/03/2005
Nice dance shame the tag changes the walls. This makes the dance tricky for no apparent reason. The change of walls spoils an otherwise nice dance

MICHELLE COOPER - 02/03/2005
What a beautifull waltz to a lovely track, feel's a bit differnt after tag on 7th wall, when your on 6 & 9 oclock wall, but soon get used to it,

Graham Smith - 25/02/2005
This is a wonderful dance to beautiful music. It is only made better by the expert tuition of Sarah and Myra who ALWAYS give their students a chance to hear the music BEFORE they get them onto the floor..... Please keep up the good work...

Lovely flowing dance but why isn't there a note on the step sheet that it's a two/two wall line dance, or words to that effect? I'm sure this must have confused a few people, and, this being the case, wouldn't it have been easier to just do a cross unwind 3/4 for the tag and keep the dance as a straight two-waller? It's a nice touch, changing walls, but one that needs flagging up better on the step sheet.

troggie - 23/02/2005
big hit in all classes. which is a surprise as they dont usually like waltzes.

Dee Musk - 18/02/2005
Gorgeous dance, fab music. Great combination. Big hit with me and my class. Well done Bracken. Luv Dee xx

Hazel And Ben - 16/02/2005
Fantastic!Love the Music, bit unsure of the tag though not sure if it fists!

Peter - 16/02/2005
Very nice waltz with good music. Just be careful as two versions of dance avalible as covered by the above reviews. The music is a free download from this site for subscribers. You have to concenrate a bit after the restart as changes from walls 1 and 3 to 2 and 4 and for some weird reason it throws you!!!

Sue - 16/02/2005
A great dance, have been doing UK version for a few weeks. Intermediates, advanced and improvers all coping well, until the tag and the wall change and then the fun starts!!!!!

Norma - 16/02/2005
This dance went down very well with Int./Adv.Linedancers. We found the Tag & changing walls a little challenging. Everyone loved the music.

Mike Parkinson (Hot Line Llandudno) - 16/02/2005
Great little waltz, easy to teach, easy remembered tag (UK Version) Nice feel to the dance, Gone down very well at my classes, Pity We Can't give it Six Boots Well Done!!

Sue Marks - 12/02/2005
Lovely music tho` difficult to obtain. We struggled with the ending of this dance - not for beginners - but practice makes perfect and it kept everyone interested. I really like it.

Speno of Lincoln Lone Stars - 03/02/2005
This dance went down a storm - especially well for a waltz. Possibly the favourite dance in the clases at present.

Sarah & Myra (Buckin Horses LDC) - 01/02/2005
We have known this dance for the past few weeks now, and was initially put off with there being 2 versions, however, the uk version seems to be the most popular one being danced in our area, and it does actually fit better, it seems more natural to start on the word 'spell' rather than on the word 'under' and in the uk version there is only 1 tag which is a bonus!!! A nice little basic waltz for everyone to enjoy - once you know which version is being danced on the dance floors!!!!

Barbara Smith - 31/01/2005
Beautiful music but two versions are already being taught one with a tag on wall 3 and wall 7 starting on 'under' (which is almost impossible) and one with just the 7th wall tag and starting on 'spell'. Helppppppp
