I line dance in Northampton 2 evenings a week. I have been dancing since 1996 and had originally started line dancing as a way to lose weight. Then in 1999 I was still line dancing (and two stone lighter) so started messing around and trying steps out to a piece of music that I liked. Before I knew it a dance was written and the group I go to really enjoyed it. I entered it in a competition and came second and so kept on making up dances (I prefer saying making up because choreographing sounds too formal). I hope everyone who tries my dances enjoys them and I hope that you continue to enjoy linedancing for many years to come.
