Absolutely love this dance too - From this moment, danced at my class but where on earth do I find the dance version to down load, to practise at home? The recommended album version is far too slow.

One or two of my class have been pestering me to do this dance for some time now, however I went away for a holiday recently and found that they had done in my absence but NOT to the Shania track that is now very hard to locate, they did it instead to 'Titanic' (Fever 7, Tr 3) and it fits perfick, another suggestion is 'How do I Live' (Fever 6, Tr 3). Also in a variation to the choreographed steps we to have replaced the sailor 1/4 left turn with the 3/4 right turn shuffle. Sorry Nathan but this variation fits better and the steps flow better and have seen on a video taken at a linedancing weekend.

I know this is a late review but was browsing through the dances and felt I had to comment. this dance has consistently been a number one choice in our class for 2 years now.I do not agree with gemma about beginners I think she means improvers. It is always requested in our socials and deserves to be remembered as a classic.it has been popular now for a long time.whereas some of the more recent `award`winners have long been forgotten.

i cant get this one at all, i love the music and want to dance to it but always get lost at the same bit, more practising for me!!

David Eddison - 08/02/2001
Love this dance and the music as near as we want to get to pop in our classes. I wish I was one of gemma's beginners as well I've been dancing for 8 years and if someone had taught me this when I started I would have run away screaming never to be seen again.

I'm impressed with Gemma's beginners... as a beginner myself I found it quite challenging initially! We also see a choice after step 10 of a sailor turning quarter left or a shuffle turn 3-quarters right and that can confuse. The tempo mix is hard to find but essential and great when it's played (the version on Come On Over is noticeably slower). I love the dance but need reminding how to do it if we haven't done it for a while as there are quite a few "bits" in it. Well worth having a go.

Lovely flowing dance and useful for lots of different music so why doesn't anyone do it? Another one on the back burner!

Gemma Hopkins - 20/12/2000
I think that this dance is simple but fun and a very good dance for beginners to learn. It also seems to get the most people on the dance floor and should take pride and place on the dancefloor.

Sue Ridder - 30/11/2000
My class and I love this dance, partly of course because of the good combination with the music. It has deserved its nr.1 spot. Still unknown as yet in Holland, I am trying to promote it!
