Try doing this dance to "You're the one that i want" from the film Grease. Goes a treat.

Wow 3 consecutive reviews for 1 dance, whilst doing 'Top Of The World', my class decided that, that piece of music would also be suitable for this dance, so if you wanna give an oldie a breath of fresh air, then away you go, P.S. you will need an 8 step tag ( basically the 1st section ) for it to fit in with the lyrics, dont worry you'll find it where its needed.

Since my last review aprrox 18 months ago, I've since found another track to spice up this Golden Oldie, Try doing it to 'Two Steppin Texas Blue' found within the 'Step In Line' series, it gives an old dance a chance to be revived.

I agree with the above, it can be difficult but once mastered you'll wonder why it took so long, the beat / timing can be offputting but demanding on the grey matter, if in doubt consult my friend 'Percy Veerance' and you'll get there in the end. As for the count in timing, its bit on the awkward side but listen for the lyrics 'Rolling down the Ribbon of Highway' and start where you feel comfortable

Personally I love this dance, but after I teach it, students don't seem to request it. Might be the country two-step beat and vertical direction, which feel odd to many line dancers.

I love the music and dance but am having trouble with timing. How many counts of music before dance begins?
