Wicked dance, although it actually sounds a bit like the lion king. Good music, not such a good dance, as there are tags.

Claz - 19/11/2000
Hard at first but once you've got the hang of it excellent

This is truly a fun dance, goes perfectly to the music. Lot's of energy and the dance keeps you thinking right to the end. Some students are not thrilled with the music but it has seemed to grow on them recently. The steps although a little bland do work wonderfully with the music and the tags more than make up for what they lack. We just love this dance!

I like this one a lot, the music really gets you going! Also divides people to those who love it and to those who hate it... Not very easy at first but by listening to the music you get the hang of it. Which makes me ask, why 2 and 4, because it goes perfectly to walls 3 and 6...

I found the steps to this dance confusing - but have learnt another dance called Fenua choreographed and taught by Paul 'crazy legs' in Harleston Norfolk, and his fitted beautifully to the music much better than this one - and with NO TAGS- something I do not like.

Lesley - 28/10/2000
What does Fenua Maohi E mean?? The dance is brilliant! But I do wonder what the words are about!! This is always popular at our classes and most dancers can master it. The tags add for pleasure not confusion! At the end of each wall some people are adding knee bend, clap knees, clap hands and arms up with vocal hoough! We just love it!

Fun dance, but you must not lose your concentration on wall 3 & 6.

John Wootton - 17/08/2000
IMHO this is "THE" fun dance of the year. It's not too difficult to master and the music gives you plenty of notice when a "skip steps" section is coming up. It really makes the dance when everyone puts the Maori "Haka" movements in at the appropriate time. Great Fun!!!!

My class have a lot of fun with the hip bumps, they give it a lot of attitude.. good general dance.. keeps everyone smiling as difficulty level is not too high and they can just enjoy!!

Colin Clarke - 16/07/2000
This has become one our most requested dances and although a little tricky to start with because of the phrasing most members of our club picked it up quite well. We performed this dance at Banbury Carnival on Sunday 16th July to great applause.

I love this wonderful wee dance my class love it. It gets them really going when they here this little dance we LOVE IT come on create some more like this. Jean Higginson seconds that. My club give it 100.100

This is a good , fun dance . I have been taught it with phasing and have danced it many times, it does get easier & better the more times you do it, we do not do the "wiggle" anymore, we slap thighs, stick out elbows & shout "HUH" !!!!

Lisa Mason - 04/07/2000
I agree with most of the comments already made. It is not entirely clear where this dance should start with the music. It was my understanding the phased sections started on the 3rd and 6th rotations of the dance. If I have this wrong would someone please e-mail me. Some clubs are obviously teaching this without the phased sections. This caused some confusion at our Independance day dance on Sat. 1st July. Some keen linedancers came along and joined in but left the floor complaining and left shortly afterwards in a huff, as they were taught this dance without the phased sections.

Charleen Wilson - 03/07/2000
A fun dance - enjoyed teaching it though there was confusion - had to call out things like just wiggle or start again

Carmel - 24/06/2000
I enjoyed it - a fun dance - but I do not rate it high

Laura - 22/06/2000
Found the steps very uninspiring and the tags weren't very clear.

Karen - 18/06/2000
Apart from the music which is very good, the steps to this dance have no style - very overrated dance.

Karen - 17/06/2000
A little confusing to start but you get the idea when listening to the music. How's about we leave this one to the natives.

Aaron Moulder - 14/06/2000
Very Good Dance, You can sink your teeth into this one even though it is confusing and confuse yourself by adding lots of turns and things like that.

margriet - 13/06/2000
Saw this dance at a line dance festival but there was confusion between dance groups, some did the skips, others didn't. I looked for the dance sheet but Kickit said :On the third time ... and on the sixth time .....! Linedancer said: Following 2nd rep.... and following 4th rep.... Cactus Star said: End of 2nd wall ... and end of 4th wall.... Please can someone tell me what's correct??? Margriet
