Brilliant dance,a lovely track, not the easiest dance to teach and learn but well worth the effort. My Thursday class just loved it we ended up dancing it 3 times.

Lovely to watch. Lovely to dance. Surely one of the dances of the year.

Helen - 02/07/2005
One of the best dances out there at the moment to an awesome piece of music. Deserves more than 5 boots

Ann - 02/06/2005

I love the music and love the dance, the dance it fits so well with the music I learned it from the step sheet, and taught to my class, it took awhile but as other have said before, I told my students this is definitely worth learning. Thanks to you Alison and Peter

This is for Paul - 2 above. John Arthur Martinez released a CD prior to Lone Starry Night called Stand Your Ground. That CD has a version of El Rio Amor/River of Love on it. We believe it differs from the one found on Lone Starry Night which our dance was choreographed to. Hope this clears up any confusion. Thanks to all those who've been enjoying the dance.

Perhaps you have a different track of the music as it definitely doesn't have another restart. Its a lovely dance and well worth the effort of learning and teaching. Well done Peter and Alison

Paul Spink - 17/04/2005
I,ve just learnt the dance from the script submitted in the May issue of Linedancer and intend teaching this at my class but I am unsure whether the linedancer script is correct. After the restart during the 3rd wall I can only get the dance to fit if I restart the dance again also on the next wall at the same point (without the extra hold counts). Is this correct or is it me who's dancing it wrong?(Which is usually the case!)

What a beautiful piece of music - took my class about three weeks to become confident with the dance but we LOVE it.

Hi Mike - not sure where you're getting the script from. The dance is definitely 4 walls. Email us at alison.biggs1@btinternet.com or petermetelnick@btinternet.com and we'll send our correct script. Hope to hear from you - Peter & Alison
