An instant hit when I learned it last Thanksgiving weekend near Ft. Lauderdale...and now a huge hit at every club. It's invariably the dance that non-dancers stop to gawk at in amazement and makes people want to learn to dance!

What a brilliant dance, to lovely music. So well choreographed with the clever intro.Must be a sure hit.

Well done Maggie! This dance is great fun and really energetic, it definately makes you feel drowsy. This dance is great fun on its own but to add a bit of a difference try dancing it one wall Drowsy Maggie and one wall Boys from Ballymore it makes you think.

Dance the whole trace & you will feel as if you've had a good workout! Dance this with friends & slap their hands - for a variation

Stefan Collins - 10/02/2001
quite a long song, but very dancable. Definitely a floor filler

David Stockton - 09/02/2001
This caught my attention and looked good at first but once I had learned it it has no reason to keep on dancing it. The tune is too long for the few steps.

Nicola Glenc - 12/01/2001
I loved this dance the moment i learned it, you can have sooo much fun with it. It's also very energetic, i couldn't believe it when i first saw Maggie Gallagher dance it...whoa can that girl move...seriously, one minuit she was at the front, the next she had danced all the way to the back!!!! Anyway i love it!

Love the song and dance, especially at the end of the song when it plays the beginning of 'pop goes the weasel'. Quite a hard dance but overall it's brilliant.

A great dance - fast and well choreographed. The music gets right to the heart and you can't help but smile when you dance it. It's a winner and our class loves it!

JEAN BARLOW - 17/10/2000
Very catchy Irish music. Not for Beginners as has several fast turns. Suit Intermediates. Smashing dance, class loved it. Will do well.
