Only just leant this dance t'other week, as the music had become available on 'simply the best LDA', reading the script, seemed confusing as the direction on the rock are towards points of the clock, take these out and just rock forward/backward and its an excellent dance.

A very good dance for beginners looking to move up. I love the Mavericks' version of the song, too (heck, now I can even understand the words!). It's a little too easy for me, but it's more challenging when you throw extra spins everywhere!

This dance is fun. It gets hilarious when people are facing different directions and seem to get "lost" in the dancing.

This is an excellent song and dance. I love the way that they count you in at the start. It is an easy dance, although at the start you can get a bit muddled up! Well done Mavericks!!!

I love this dance. the music is bouncy and uplifting, and if there is still a class out there who point to the correct corners at the correct times then WHY???!!! C'mon, get pointing into the wrong corners and really create some fun!

For this year's 'Dance to the Heartbeat', I've been searching for dances with a 'Heart' in the title and came across this one. I've taught it to my beginner/intermediate classes and we are enjoying it. Nice one Adrian! My fund-raising event for the British Heart Foundation will be on the 24th Nov 2000.

Great, floor filling, easy to pick up, dance. Pointing to the corners adds to the feel.

Another great Mavericks track. Dance fun to do although the 'corners' can be confusing at first. Not too difficult, good Beginner could do it.

I also like this dance. Easy to learn and fun to do. Is one of those dances that fits well to other tracks.

This is a Great Dance. First - nearly everyone recognises the music even if they cant rememeber the original was by Creedence Clearwater Revival. Great concept to teach to ie first half of the dance - you aim for the corners of the room, the second half you dance straight to the walls. And in all the classes I have dances this , most of the dancers follow the instructer and point into the corners. I know its not written with these movements but its great fun. Simple steps (one you get the hang of the order os the corners), fits great to the music and everyone has fun with it. My Dance of the Year.
