Fab dance, fab song. Once you've mastered the steps and phrasing you can enjoy singing along. I'd love to watch Captain Kangaroo!

Jan Anderson - 06/04/2001
Definately the best dance I've learnt all year!! Superb music it will obviously stay the course.

Ed Ybarra - 03/04/2001
The choreography and music fit very, very well; bravo! But the "flow" is a bit tedious.

Stephen Rutter - 20/03/2001
I really do think this dance is Sooo... Great I can honestly say there hasn't been a dance this good for ages. It's definetly my favorate dance and here in shropshire there is alot of people love it just as much as I do.Although it's phrased the music tells you where the different bits fit in,my class(Kick Some Country)like it anyway.Well done Ed & Malcolm.

Kokomo Kruiser - 19/03/2001
This is just a great dance! Even better when done live to the Dean Brothers version!

Leanne Rolls - 07/03/2001
Great!

Val - 05/03/2001
This dance is very popular I know. Our class loves it. Am I in the minority? Yes I think so. I find this "happy clappy" dance a pain. The music is boring also. But so many people can't be wrong. Sorry Ed and Malcolm, this one is not for me.

What an exellent dance. The perfect dance to "strut your stuff to" on a linedance night.

Stefan Collins - 10/02/2001

just learnt this dance, it is brilliant, love the music, I keep forgetting the first tag though, needs a lot of practise and sounds hard but it is fun, try it

Maggie Lydon - 29/12/2000

Samantha - 11/12/2000
what can i say? The best dance ever. Although it is quite hard tom pick up at the start. Fits perfect to music. Love song. It's a smash hit!!!!!!!!!!

Dave "The Rave" - 29/11/2000
This has got to be in the running for an award, what a brilliant dance. Taught this is Spain and everyone went mad about it, well done Ed Lawton and Malcom White for a great dance.

Rosie Bragg - 26/11/2000
Although I am partial to "Mr. Booty shaker" himself, I am one of his best critics. This dance is one of my favorites and I think both young and old will enjoy it for many years to come. Patrick had fun choreographing "Booty Shakin" and his goal was for people to have just as much fun dancing it. Keep your eye out because Patrick feet are moving again! From the USA this is Rosie telling you to keep doing it on the dace floor.

Stef green - 24/11/2000
Great dance, like the music, i'm sure it will become even more popular soon and hope to see it danced a lot elsewhere.

Sue Johnstone - 22/11/2000
Great dance, teaching it to the class next week, I'm sure they will love it

Jo - 21/11/2000

sue marks - 22/09/2000
Well choreographed - fun to do - good music - class handled the phrasing easily

caroline - 20/09/2000
brings a smile to your face the first time you learn it easy to learn and remember. The music is great as well. Insperational.

Rebecca P Over - 28/08/2000
This dance fits the music superbly. Although it is phrased all the steps are straightforward and the music tells you what to do (honestly!). It feels great to dance, looks good too and was one of the favourite dances of those of us who learned it at Barton Hall in July. Give it a try - you won't be disappointed.
