AUGUST 2007 - Have just relaunched this brillint dance again. Derailed is real fun with loads of attitude and, the music from the fantastic Derailers - Then She Kissed Me. Our newer dancers absolutely love it, so even though it maybe a few years old it is still one of the best dances, so make it a BLAST FROM THE PAST in your club.

David Lean (Tramline Stompers) - 22/01/2004
OK its been around for a fewq years now, but I tried it then and kept on derailing in the last few steps, seen it recently, so thought I'd give it another go, this time I stayed on the rails, and my class got it first time.

Maggie & Pauline (Stratford Upon Avon) - 05/01/2003
Know this is now 2003, but, just so loved this dance when it hit the dance foor April 2000, choreographed by the brilliant Peter Metelnick. When taught in our club it was a instant hit. Recently at socials it has been requested, the floor full. This should be a revival as it is such fun and to the great Derailers music. This was when we all got dances choreographed to Country Music and no tags' just dance and have fun.

michaela moyse - 10/10/2002

Robin Madeley - 22/11/2000
love this dance! fairly easy to learn, but tricky to pick up from watching it. as far as fitting the music goes, it's the best dance yet! maybe could do with a better finish.... (it just 'peters' out, [no pun intended]).

Margaret Chia - 07/11/2000
Simply loooooove the dance!!!!!!

Marian - 04/11/2000
Like the dance - am having difficulty getting my feet around the stomp stomp hook etc - but this is a sign that I like the dance. Peter Metelnick has yet to bring out a bad'n.

Lesley - 28/10/2000
Another great dance by Peter Metelnick - our class love to the original track but also to another track - about trains (can't remember what its called), but its pretty damn good!!

Jan - 18/10/2000
One of my faves! Love this dance, it's always on my requests list. The hook: stomp, kick-ball-change, stomp, stomp, kick-ball-change bit is just great!! Really gives you achy feet when you stomp that HARD! Just wish the dance track was longer ....

Paul O'connor. - 17/08/2000
This is surely one of the best dances going round the circuit at the moment. It is done to a great piece of music by nsync, and is well liked by all members of our club.Cant wait for Patricks next dance.

Jean Barlow - 15/08/2000

kaz - 06/08/2000
Done it again haven't you Peter! Brilliant Dance, the music tells you what to do>

Val Saunders - 30/07/2000
This is a really fun dance to do and fits the music perfectly, making it easy to learn and enjoy. Will someone please choregraph a dance to "Knee deep in the blues" another from The Derailers (same album.)

Jack Taylor - 30/07/2000
First did this dance at the Country Kickback Festival at Morecambe about 6 weeks ago. Its a catchy little dance, with everyone shouting Stomp, Kickball, stomp, Stomp, Kickball chand, Stomp in the appropriate places.

alan - 20/07/2000
Good one Peter! The catchy "stomp kick ball change stomp stomp etc" is a great feature and it's also good to dance to this familiar old song. Plenty of chasses plus variety of other steps. Actually one of the quicker ones to learn but don't let that put you off - not all fun needs slaving over(!). I think it could be in the top 10 for the Andover disco this month (?)
