I'm new to all this, but at my club they are still enjoying this one years later; I immediately found it brilliant to watch, and to dance. No idea what the guys at the top of the list are on about! Brilliant, Maggie.

A fantastic dance with no faults with the steps. The dance is even better when you do alternating walls of 'Whiskey in the Jar' and 'Shamrock Shake'. Well Done!

Don't understand the negative reviews. The dance is almost perfectly phrased! So I wonder if one of the persons far above listened to the right music! This is a good dance! Not to difficult and the steps are very well adapted to the music. It isn't the greatest dance Maggie wrote but certainly not the worst! I think it will be a floor filler because of the not to difficult steps and the funny music! I like it and will teach it in our lessons!

Great dance - taught it to all my classes and its a floor filler. Most prefer to do the dance without the 1¼ turn - they say it flows better :-)

This dance is one of my favourites at the moment. It is a lively tune and good fun. We are not all serious dancers you know. Fun is good too!

Pim Humphrey - 02/02/2004
super dance, I have taught it to my classes, and its a floor filler, well done Maggie

It’s a big hit in our area. Everybody loves it and nobody cares about the phrasing. It feels good and makes us smile every time we dance it. Try MARVELLOUS TOY as a slower teaching song. Although it’s a Christmas song it doesn’t sound too much of Christmas and fits perfectly. Well done Maggie!

This is a fantastic dance. It has been danced in our classes for several months now and it is a firm favourite - one dancer even requested it twelve times at our end of class social dancing. They wanted it played twelve times - we fitted in three but most of the class would have danced it many more times, including both of us. A great dance - don't miss it!

This dance is goin well in our area, dont be confused by the above reviews........most dancers dont think in a technical way, but know if it feels good .. they just like to get up and dance cose they have enough to think about in there everyday life.........if you like it dance it. if you dont sit down but do give credit to the choreographers who are trying to bring something to the majority and others without knocking there expertise ... we can always suggest they should have done this etc. etc.... perhaps the ones who do should write a dance and see how far it goes ?? would love to see some of them

Sorry, don't agree with other reviews, thought this was a great dance, fills the floor at our club every time! Well done!

Oh Maggie, what a shame. Did you not listen to the music first? It clearly requires a 50 beat dance. Please add some more steps to the first 32 you have provided - which are fine - and end up with a great dance.
Sue - 30/12/2003
I agree whole heartedly!!!!!
Karen - 21/12/2003
I agree with Ed - I would definitely not get up to do this dance
