I was bitten by the Line Dance Bug almost 5 years ago. I had never danced before this. My music training was mainly in Classical and Baroque styles. I have played, taught, arranged and conducted especially during my teaching career (33 years). None of this can be directly linked to Line Dancing but has served as a spring-board to help me analyse and try to understand Country and Western music. It has also given me the confidence to make an attempt at choreography. This has proved to be a most interesting and enjoyable pastime. I have voluntarily run a day-time Line Dance class for the last 3 years - mainly for OAPs - all takings are donated to the Church Fund.
