Our group continue to be impressed by the excellent movements in this dance. Tricky at first, but once you get used to it, you want to do it over and over again!

This is a pretty good dance, as far as Latin line dances go. I really like cha-cha dances.

Barbara Shaw - 09/06/2001
Brilliant dance. Deserves to be in Linedancer Magazine. Fits really well to the music. Easier to do than would first appear but looks anf feels great.

Janet - 04/06/2001
Great dance and music. Well worth the effort to learn.

I think that the dance is the best dance that i've ever done but don't like the music thow!!!!!!!

Chris L - 21/05/2001
Great Dance beautiful music.

Niels - 16/04/2001
This dance is cool! Tricky at first because of the unusual pattern of steps plus the syncopated steps at the end, but once you master it the dance flows superbly to the music. Did I forget to say the music is great too?! Very funky... For variation try to add two full turns to the right on counts 32, 1, 2 and 3. Go for it!

Janice - 06/03/2001
I really like both the dance & the music , especially as its now in the charts!

Leanne Rolls - 26/02/2001
I'm not sure about this one - but it's definitely growing on me. My class members either love the music but dislike the dance or vice versa. Still you can't please everyone!

Michelle Warner - 25/02/2001
An excellent, excellent dance. This is most definately my favourite at the moment. It is a good peice of music and the dance goes really well. Even my friends that don't dance wanted me to teach them this one.

Jan - 14/02/2001
Learnt this the other night - tricky to pick up, but gets easier ... I just wish the music was better. 3 boots for the dance, only 1 for the music

David Stockton - 09/02/2001
I finally got it and think it is great. You cannot allow your mind to wander for one minute.

Mr. W.F. Gilruth - 05/02/2001
On the first steps 1 - 8 there is a shuffle forwards but I have found it is better to dance a lockstep forwards followed by a shuffle backwards. Putting a backlock in turns the body slightly left and it is difficult to turn a 1/4 right in the next movement without kicking yourself. The dance is good fun and follows a great Cha Cha rhythm, we enjoy it very much and it will stay with us for a few months yet.

Michelle Warner - 29/01/2001
Excellent dance. Dances are getting better by the day and this certainly proves it. I thought I knew what my favourite dance was until I did this dance then I realised that it was better than my previous favourite. I wish I'd choreographed it.

Hideaway Cha - 27/01/2001
Love It! So do my class (except for one person who didn't like the music!) Thought they might find the timing tricky, but having taught it slowly and then practised it to Easy Come Easy Go by George Strait, they all managed it to the correct music. This should be a huge hit!

Nicola Glenc - 20/12/2000
This dance is my fave at the moment!!! When Jo Thompson taught it at the workshops i went to, it went down a storm. You can really express your self adding your own styling! Taught it last Friday, everyone loved it! I love the music too. Well done Jo, Jamie & Joanne- these three gals have class, and have created a fab dance!!!!

Michael McKenzie - 17/12/2000
This is a great dance by three great chroeographers. The modernized upbeat version of the <Hernando's Hideaway> theme goes perfectly with it. Putting the traditional cha cha count to an upbeat song makes it a fun dance to do. It will work well with other music, but <Hideaway Cha> fits perfectly with the song <Dance with Me>. A song with so much feeling has lead to a dance that expresses that feeling so well. Love it!

Lin. - 10/12/2000
Brilliant dance. Not difficult when you get used to the timing.

Debbie - 03/12/2000
This dance is brilliant. Its my fave at the mo. It fits so well to the music and you can really get into it. This dance should definately be published so that more people get the chance to do it.

Glenda Harney - 29/11/2000
I think Patrick Fleming is one of the most talented dancers and choreographers around. I watched him from the beginning and I am very proud to say I had a little hand in helping him get started on his long journey. He has come a long way and he isn't finished yet. Booty Shakin' is just one of many great dances choreographed by Patrick. All of my dancers, young and old, love the dance and most of all love Patrick. I always have to tell the ladies to watch his feet not his sexy moves. Oh well, what do I know.

Sue Johnstone - 26/11/2000
Lovely dance that fits perfectly to this music. Taight it to my classes and they love it too !!!

Kay - 22/11/2000
The Cha Cha rhythm is one of my favourites to dance to, and even though there are a lot of cha cha's out there, this is really special. A beautiful dance with enough to make you think a bit, but also able to get lost in the rhythm of the music. Absolutely great!!

Karen from Hertfordshire - 21/11/2000
Fantastic dance. Should be danced with a real attitude.

arianne harkness - 20/11/2000
what an amazing piece of work! a beautiful traditional cha-cha that fits the catchy music wonderfully, even though not perfectly phrased. although tricky in the beginning, the timing of the dance is definately a challenge worth mastering and achievable by all dancers! probably the greatest dance i have ever learned. it deserves to be published and should be a great success!!!!!
