Love the dance - but even though having been taught it by several different teachers at various times - am still unable to master it. Very frustrating, because I would love to 'strut my stuff', but will persever.The music is brilliant, but for learning the steps to, is a bit fast.

Have done this dance for quite a while now and thoroughly enjoy it. Found it hard to learn - a good sign- and thought the music rubbish when I first heard it. But after listening to the words -am now a Backstreet Boys fan!! This is one of the dances I always do even when drained !!!
Hands Up And Swing

As a member of the team which danced "Hands Up and Swing" at the Henfield heats, I must say how much fun we had doing it! Since then we have often danced it to all different music - the faster the better, with lots of variations in the first 4 counts ie hip swings, hands going up, in fact anything you like! A fun dance.

Wow! What a dane - a last Sharon shows what she is really made of! The music is fantastic and the dance just flows along with it. Even though it is a phased dance you can't get lost as the dance beat is so well defined. Great dance Sharon!

Impossible to complete the first section of this dance. Count 5 is a step to the right, with a double-clap on &6. It is therefore impossible to cross-rock your Right foot over your Left on count 7....

Impossible to complete the first section of this dance. If you step forward on your Right foot (1) them bump your hips Left-Right on &2 , it is not possible to kick your Right foot forward as the first part of a Right kick-ball-change. Oh dear...

Quite a nice beginner dance that fits well to the music. There is a 4-count tag in the music at the end of the second wall, which makes the dance go off-phrase due to the lag of a tag, but it doesn't matter too much, and I doubt that many beginners would notice. Worth looking at...
