Wild Love

Denise Nicholls - 05/04/2013
solid intermediate dance, section 1 and 2 were the trickiest to master some lost sense of direction with the turns so had to spend a little time on the 2 sections, other than that nothing difficult in the rest of the dance and restart is obvious. Brill music by Rea Garvery, everyone enjoyed it by the end of the night

Went down well with improvers and inters last section was a little tricky for some but soon came together. Filled the floor each time it was played.

Jive King 32

Julie Hanson - 05/04/2013
This dance is the 1st half (32 counts) of Jive King... so have a peek at that video to see what's involved. This is well worth a look and also works well as a floor split with the longer Jive King

Now we're relaxing into the dance and having fun, it's getting better and better... this well worth a look and also works well as a floor split with the easier Jive King 32

Hmmm I love the music but 2 tags and 3 restarts in different places doesn't say improver to me.

A dance to take you back to your youth. If you loved the Jive you must try this one. No restarts. No Tag.
Time In A Bottle

A waltz which interprets the music beautifully as it glides smoothly from corner to corner. Lovely changes of direction and flowing sequences of steps. Another gem from Alison and Peter.
Our Generation

Expertly choreographed dance by Peter & Alison to a very catchy song. No joint issues on the rocking tag which fits the lyrics of the song perfectly. The main body of the dance is a fairly straightforward teach with sections mentioned by David being the trickiest. Section 6 was great fun to master and had the dancers laughing trying to get it right. Great to have a fun dance with a bit of thinking to a really infectious song. This should do really well.

So sorry for previouse blank, to quick with trigger finger.Picked up this dance from reading Kath Dickens review ,must agree it is well worth giving a go as the music is great, and the steps fall into place nicely.Again good to have a dance where we can just get on and enjoy the dance for what it is rather than a brain tease
The Mermaid

Nice easy teach and certainly doesn't feel like 80 counts. Music not as immediately catchy as the music for 50 Ways. Think this will be a grower with the dancers.
