Sweet Surrender

This is slightly different from the dance on Information super dance floor. The one there says the choreographer says 'The speed and technique elude many that try it'. I have danced it 100 times in 4 days and still can't quite get the timing. It looks good, it feels good and it is a real challenge to do it. I have been line dancing 18 months, aged 58, now at intermediate level (Patient Heart, Hot love, Bailando 64). I like this dance and will try and perfect it.

This dance is fantastic, especially when done to Robbie Williams. It is perfectly phrased and is a real winner.
Break or Make

This dance is brill! It fits sooo incredibly well, especially with the skate steps at the beginning. I like it best done to Tina Arena because it fits better, although still fab when done to Faith Hill. All my class love it, they asked for it three times more after i taught it.

Hideaway Cha

Mr. W.F. Gilruth - 05/02/2001
On the first steps 1 - 8 there is a shuffle forwards but I have found it is better to dance a lockstep forwards followed by a shuffle backwards. Putting a backlock in turns the body slightly left and it is difficult to turn a 1/4 right in the next movement without kicking yourself. The dance is good fun and follows a great Cha Cha rhythm, we enjoy it very much and it will stay with us for a few months yet.

Robin's right about the triple step rather than coaster step according to the script but hey the variation is cool! Still going strong as a request dance in our clubs and tends to sort out the levels of dancers too giving some motivation to walk it through and raise the level of everybody's enjoyment. Still worth a 5...!
