Liked the dance. Liked the music. But not together - dance doesn't seem to flow to the music ... I suspect that if I taught thsi to our class, it would get a thumbs-down. Not that it's particularly bad, there are many dances which are far worse, it's just too slow methinks. SORRY!

Like this one a lot - very cool when done to "She's A Bad Mama Jama" by Carl Carlton (much better than dancing it to 'Just Got Paid'). Another (slightly faster) bit of music that it works well to is "I'm Outta Love" by Anastacia.
Take A Ride

Probably my favourite dance of the moment. Not easy to master, yet not difficult once learned (if you know what I mean!!). The music is very cool, and is one of those tracks that just makes you want to get up & dance. A classic piece of choreography, nothing less than 5 boots would do it justice.

It my 'www.memory' serves me well I seem to recall that Alan Jackson won a CMT Award for this song in 2000. At least I know he sung it at the Awards Concert. So it's about time that there was a dance to it so we can start promoting 'Good Ole Country Music' again to our classes. The beauty about this dance is that it is quite easy to learn and teach- no 'Oh too fancy' steps and no awkward direction loosing turns and no 'what the hell does than mean' terminology. It's a nice medium pace dance for beginners who should have no trouble at all picking it up. It's also a good quick teach for more experienced dancers , who while they may not find the steps too challenging will surely love the music and can add another notch to their boots. Well done Tim !!

This is a very lively yet simple little dance - it can fit to many other songs including some by S-Club 7. Try it - you'll enjoy it

Music is really lovely to listen to. However, the choreographers seem to have got a bit 'over the top' with full-turn shuffles and the one-and-a half-turn shuffle at the end is very fast and tricky for many less experienced dancers. Intermediate dancers should cope with it however, and the dance can be simplified for Beginners by substituting side shuffles (side-close-side) on the full turns, and a triple half-turn left instead of the 1.1/2 turn at the end. This way all levels can manage it. 5 points for the music. 3 for dance.
The Trail

Trail of Tears by Billy Ray Cyrus is a superb country track which makes you want to dance to it. We need more dances to country tracks like this one!! Steps are interesting, but not too difficult with a little practice. Most good beginners should manage it. Dance works well and fits the music beautifully and is a joy to do. Everyone loves it here.

One of the Dean Bros. tracks. Music reasonable, but dance lively and easy for Beginners/Improvers who seem to love it.

Great! Instant hit with our Thursday class. Hope it is a success for Alan. They all loved the music. I did it to Start the Car by The Bunch, from the Ultimate In Dance Album. Good luck Monica Williams
