Hold Your Horses

Sheila Evans - 15/08/2001
I can't stand this dance. I feel really stupid doing it, galloping on an imaginary horse! I always sit it out. It's a 'fad' dance. Can't wait for the novelty to wear off.
Dancing In The Dark

What an absolutely fantastic dance! I love the Latin type dances where I can wiggle my hips. Great music and well choreographed.

My class love this dance - with or without the hand claps! A nice dance that fits well to the music
Clickety Clack

Karen - 14/08/2001
Loved the dance once I got used to the speed. Loved the last 4 counts which made it fit well to the music for the first half of the tune, but felt that it needed a tag part way through to bring it back into line with the music. Otherwise, another great dance from Peter and Kathy.

fab fun dance. Don't let the timing put you off this one. It's really worth the effort. Well done Maggie.
Party Of One

Oh I love this dance. Although I have only done it twice why do I keep forgetting one step in the middle? Practice makes perfect so I will keep at it 'cause I'm sure this is a winner.
Latino Girl

Sharon - 14/08/2001
At just 48 counts, Latino Girl isn't too difficult to learn. The steps are interesting enough to make a refreshing change from the usual combo of shuffle, rock, grapevine. I love the Ricky Martin song too. The 2 wall tag at 32-counts is easy to pick up and really fits in well. My intermediate class seem to enjoy it very much. I recommend it if you're looking for something upbeat and different.
X Cuse Me

Happy song, good dance with freedom for improvisation. Makes me feel in a holiday mood!
The Next Teardrop

Abeautiful dance with a lovely flow. Goes well with the music and is very easy to follow. Must be a hit
Nutbush City Strut

Susan - 14/08/2001
This dance is best danced to the "old" version of Nutbush City Limits, as the "new" version is much slower. A good dance and quite simple for the beginner.
I'll Be There

Band Of Gold

Joanne Brady - 13/08/2001
I've been teaching Jo's dance for about 6 weeks and it's been a big hit. It flows well and it's nice to be able to dance a "slow" one about midway through the evening!
