Great dance! Obviously underestimated by lack of boots. We love it - it grows on you. The salute is great fun - I too have done Benny Hill to this but its good for a few whoops too! Recently we had a dress as a dance fancy dress disco and GI Blues where in attendance.

Tush Push

A great dance for improvers - looks advanced but is fairly easy. The original track is perfectly phrased so makes the dance work really well. Lots of room for interpretation of moods in the music too. I love it!
Rex The Robot

Lesley - 28/10/2000
A fun dance - great for parties and discos! We've had lots of laughs doing this one - if you've seen Paul and Rob do it - you'll really want to have a go too. Obviously old people are too boring to enjoy it - us youngsters and young at heart have a whale of a time with dances like this!!!!!!!
What's Your Name

Jo Thompson taught us this one at a workshop last year - if she recommends it its got to be good. We're still dancing it a year on and always enjoy it. Good music too!
Syncopated Rhythm

Lesley - 28/10/2000
One of the best ever line dances. Especially if you alternate along the lines one up and one down on the 'syncopated rhythm' part of the song. Slightly challenging for novice dancers but experienced dancers really get into it - one that I think will last at the discos.
Blue Finger Lou

I love phrased dances this one is brilliant! As other people have said part C is tricky (at first) but worth persevering - the adrennaline rush when you you've mastered it is great!
Chilly Cha Cha

Great dance - where do people get their inspiration from? I love the latin feel of this one - some say it reminds them of Maguerita Prakatan!
Derailed

Another great dance by Peter Metelnick - our class love to the original track but also to another track - about trains (can't remember what its called), but its pretty damn good!!
Feet Don't Fail Me Now

Lesley - 28/10/2000
I didn't realise how much I like Peter Metelnick's dances until i started doing these reviews - this is another fantastic dance. Not enough dances have applejacks for me. I spent ages trying to master the step then can't find many dances that include them. I add applejacks whereever I can but this dance has them already!! Its a great dance with only one tag its not too difficult and fits the lively music perfectly!
Fenua Maohi E

Lesley - 28/10/2000
What does Fenua Maohi E mean?? The dance is brilliant! But I do wonder what the words are about!! This is always popular at our classes and most dancers can master it. The tags add for pleasure not confusion! At the end of each wall some people are adding knee bend, clap knees, clap hands and arms up with vocal hoough! We just love it!
