Steps and Stetsons, a dance club in the Reading area (classes in Lower Earley and Sonning) recently held a Butterfly Ball to raise funds for this year's nominated charity, Alzheimer's Society.  Everyone wore something butterfly themed and all the members had a fantastic time.  Club member Jane said, "Our teachers Julie and Stephanie always pull out all the stops to decorate the hall and theme the socials. They have a fabulous team of helpers on hand to make the evenings special. The hall was decorated with butterflies members had made, all competing to win prizes which raised £47, members ‘bought a bubble' to win prizes which raised £50 and finally the butterfly themed raffle raised £140. The winning butterflies were absolutely stunning!"

The total raised for the Alzheimer's Society so far this year is £1148.  The next social is planned for July and it will be a Rock 'n' Roll theme - watch this space!
